She specializes in enhancing short and long term federal investment in transportation and environmental infrastructure, medical research and health care, regional economic development, and university development for public and non-profit organizations.
She has assisted members of the U.S. House and Senate in development and passage of authorizing and appropriation legislation securing in excess of $2 billion in federal funding for clients and the States.
Virginia received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Political Science, cum laude from Michigan State University. She has also taken various courses related to federal legislative, regulatory, and budgeting processes at Georgetown University, George Washington University, and the Governmental Affairs Institute.
